Profile:

  • An experienced Lead Generation Specialist / Executive with a solid track record of prospecting, qualifying and generating new, qualified, software sales leads to support the Regional Business Development Manager.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop qualified leads from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, targeted prospects lists & discovery / prospecting phone-calls into new accounts.
  • Imaginative approach needed to target key individuals in key accounts, including use of social media & other prospecting tools.
  • Quality not quantity approach to prospecting. NOT high volume “phone bashing’ – intelligent targeted approach needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ability to develop qualified new business leads primarily via telephone.
  • Identify decision makers & key influencers within target markets and engage effectively.
  • Promote Foxit software products and services, driving awareness & benefits to prospective customers.
  • Proactively use online research, supplied lists or leads from within the business to generate qualified leads.
  • Planning and delivering strategic out-bound (via phone, email etc) activities to reach out to targeted accounts and generate interest.
  • Identify key buying influencers / decision makers within these prospects to determine business requirement.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly performance metrics / goals.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years telemarketing experience within an enterprise software environment.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
  • A dynamic personality with a drive and determination / never give up attitude.
  • Excellent telephone / verbal manner, written communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in dealing with senior company executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed determined activity quotas.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM Software

The Sales Engineer is vital to our growth and success. This individual will remove implementation barriers for Foxit’s strategic, high-growth customers thus driving our customers to realize the return on their investment more rapidly with fewer issues.

Sales Engineer Areas of Focus

  • Resolve client questions over the telephone, email, live chat or remote support session in the areas of system configurations, setup, troubleshooting, product functionality and/or bugs/enhancements.
  • Embraces continuous self-study and easily adapts to changes in roles and responsibility.
  • Demonstrating the product with general and specific use cases during the sales meetings.
  • Product training for new and existing customers, including advisory for advanced deployment tools and virtual environments.
  • Coordinate the activities of internal resources required to align with customers’ goals while keeping customers informed of how and when issues are resolved.
  • Involvement in follow up, testing and troubleshooting, as well as appropriate referral to other departments and quality assurance areas.
  • Promote and maintain a high quality, professional, service-oriented company image among users.
  • Create product documentation and expertise by updating job knowledge, training videos and writing knowledge base articles.
  • Very minimal travel required.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field.
  • Two out of the following three certifications (preferred):
    • MCSA or MCITP in Windows Server 2012/2016
    • MCSA or MCITP Server Virtualization technologies
    • MCTS Windows® 7/8/10 and Office 2010+
  • Proven experience in an entrepreneurial, fast paced office environment providing technical pre/post-sales support in a vendor or consulting environment.
  • Understanding of (and able to write) deployment scripts, configuration scripts.
  • Ability to analyze error logs.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge in the PDF market and/or customer success management is a plus.

The key purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive technical and sales information to potential customers. The successful candidate will have excellent troubleshooting and written communication skills, and a solid technical background. What we are looking for:

  • BA/BS or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a B2B software solution sales function of a technical product
  • Technical sales experience
  • Lead management experience, including prioritization, objection-handling, and CRM experience
  • Ability to qualify leads, recognize high-value sales opportunities, and assist with completion of the deal
  • Collaboration with the technical team to deliver solutions for customers
  • Familiarity with PDF and experience with PDF SDK technology is preferable
  • Competence with programming languages such as Delphi, C++, C#, etc.
  • Knowledge of frameworks and libraries such as ActiveX, DLL, .NET, LIB, Dylib, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows and Mac platforms and software
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-orientation, with strong attention to tactical execution and follow-through; self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and drive
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical-thinking abilities
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM system
