Industry Leading PDF Technology Optimized for .NET Environments
FREMONT, Calif. - July 24, 2012 - Foxit® Corporation, an Amazon-invested leading software provider of solutions for reading, editing, creating, organizing, and securing PDF documents, today announced the release of Foxit PDF Generator for .NET SDK and Foxit PDF Merger for .NET SDK. These two software development kits (SDKs) allow .NET applications developers to quickly and easily incorporate powerful and industry standard PDF technology into their applications.
Foxit PDF Generator for .NET SDK
Foxit PDF Generator for .NET SDK allows software developers to add PDF generation to any .NET application (C# or VB.NET). Based on award winning technology, PDF Generator for .NET SDK is used for the real-time creation of PDF documents based on dynamic data. PDF documents can be generated straight to a Web Form, file, byte array, or System.IO.Stream object. The assembly is 100% managed and uses only safe code. The object model is intuitive and easy to learn, yet at the same time is very powerful.
Foxit PDF Merger for .NET SDK
From within any .NET application (using C# or VB.NET), Foxit PDF Merger for .NET SDK allows .NET software developers the ability to take any existing PDF document and merge, stamp, append, form fill, flatten, encrypt, rotate, scale, split and so much more. Use an entire PDF document or just specific PDF pages. Add content to existing PDF pages or create new pages from scratch. Do all of this using an object model that is intuitive and easy to learn yet flexible enough to put the power into the hands of the developer.
PDF Merger for .NET SDK is delivered in three packages based on different user needs. The Standard package provides support for PDF merging and importing, document templates, text, fonts, and color. The Professional packages adds to the Standard package by providing support for retrieving form data, page elements, document navigation, image support, tables, and lists.
Both products are available in two licensing models. Server based licensing is intended for developers who wish to install the software on their server or web server. It is licensed per production server and allows an unlimited number of installations on development workstations and development servers. This licensing model is ideal for those who wish to install the software on a limited number of production servers.
Developer based licensing is intended for developers who wish to distribute the software to a large number of clients. It allows one developer to develop an unlimited number of client or server based applications that use the product and distribute them royalty free.
