Foxit Corporation Releases Foxit PDF Editor 2.1

The handy, affordable and real PDF Editor adds Shading Object support

Fremont, CA. – Jan. 18, 2009 - Foxit Corporation today is announcing the availability of its Foxit PDF Editor 2.1, the only real editor for PDF documents in the market. Keeping to the design concept of modifying PDF documents with ease, this new version is more stable and easy-to-use. It supports Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server/Vista.

The Foxit PDF Editor 2.1 version has added some great new features such as Shading Object Support, it enables users to create or edit a shading object which has a smooth transition between colors across an area; Converting Text to Path, allowing users to convert the whole or selected text object(s) to path(s) to meet the pre-press requirement; Adding Shapes in Non-Graphics Editing Mode, it provides users with several simple autoshapes to insert into a PDF in a non-graphics editing mode; Alignment Support, allowing users the ability to make their structured PDF pages more professional; Image Transparency Support, it allows users the ability to set image transparency with alpha channel; Checking for Update, this keeps users updated with the latest release of Foxit PDF Editor; and many other improvements, like removing all evaluation marks at once, improved text objects creating, property list setting, and many bug fixes, etc.
