You’re out of the office, nowhere near your desktop or laptop and you need to update the contents of a PDF document. Your only resource—your smartphone or tablet. What do you do? Turn to Foxit MobilePDF. Let’s look at how this mobile PDF editor makes it easy to edit text and images in PDFs when you’re on the go.

Of course, you’ll need to open Foxit MobilePDF and look for the document you want to work on. If it’s in the cloud, tap the Cloud icon, then select the cloud service you want to use and find your PDF document. If you want to add, change or delete text or images, here’s how to do it.

Add Text

  1. Tap on the toolbar at the bottom to open the Edit toolbar
  2. Tap on the Edit toolbar, and then tap on the document where you want to add new text
  3. Specify the text style in the text format toolbar, if necessary
  4. Type in the text you want to add, and tap Done.

Edit Text

To edit text in the PDF file, do the following:

  1. On the document pane, tap on the toolbar at the bottom;
  2. Tap on the text box you want to edit, and choose Edit;
  3. Place your cursor where you want it in the text box, and then type or remove text as desired;
  4. Change the text style in the text format toolbar, if necessary.
  5. Tap Done.

Move or Delete Paragraphs

  1. On the document pane, tap on the toolbar at the bottom;
  2. Tap the text paragraph that you want to move or delete;
  3. To move the text paragraph, drag it directly to a desired place;
  4. To delete the text paragraph, tap Delete.

Add and Edit Images

Add Image Objects

  1. Tap on the toolbar at the bottom to open the Edit toolbar;
  2. Tap on the Edit toolbar, and then tap on the document where you want to add new image object;
  3. Choose Gallery to select a photo from the photo album or choose Camera to take a photo, and tap Done or Use Photo.

The selected image will be added at the place you specified in the PDF file. You can also tap the added image object to move or resize it as desired. If the image you insert is upside down, like this driver’s license, you can rotate it.

To change its orientation, select the rotate button.

Those are the basics for editing text and images on the go with Foxit MobilePDF. Which means you’re ready to work on PDF documents anytime, anywhere.
