Here is brief description of each product and their new capabilities:

Foxit PDF SDK 5.0

Application developers use this powerful, standards-compliant PDF technology to securely display, edit, annotate, format, organize, and search PDF documents and to fill PDF forms.

New capabilities in 5.0 include:

  • New PDF library for Universal Windows Platform (UWP): The new PDF library is packaged as a Windows Runtime Component for developers who need to develop applications for UWP on Windows 10 PC, tablet, phone, and other devices.
  • PDFium API support: Now it is easy port your PDFium applications to Foxit PDF SDK, the commercially supported and feature-rich alternative.

New capabilities in 1.2:

  • Forms package: Users can now fill in AcroForms, and import and export PDF form data.
  • Enhanced signature package: Ink signing allows users to sign PDF documents in their own handwriting, creating digital signatures that can be validated with digital certificates.
