What Is Windows Access
Server?
Windows Access Server (WAC Server for short) is a
product of Foxit Software Company. It runs on Windows NT (4.0
or later), Windows 2000, and Windows XP.
In short, WAC Server is a combined remote access server
supporting Telnet, SSH, and serial port, with a full featured
remote administration toolkit.
Sounds too technical? Don't worry, just read on and
we'll try to explain everything. If you perfectly understand
what we're talking, you are free to go to "Hey,
I Know Some Other Servers" section.
WAC Server converts your NT/2000/XP machine to a truly
multi-user server, which means while you can still sit in
front of the monitor, somebody else, who is sitting well beyond
of your sight, might be able to access the machine, all its
data and resources, at the same time.
