Foxit Reader Classmate Edition has been preinstalled in Intel-powered convertible classmate PC reference designs from Intel Corporation, helping to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Foxit Reader Classmate Edition is an excellent PDF document viewing application with fast speed and high quality specifically designed to work with the Intel-powered classmate PCs. It supports almost all features available on the popular Foxit Reader, including rotation, zooming, navigation, thumbnails, bookmarks, commenting tools, etc. Also it supports up to 13 multiple languages such as Spanish, Arabic, French, and Simplified Chinese. The enhanced Foxit Reader provides students with a better user experience in reading PDF documents.

What’s new in Foxit Reader Classmate Edition?

1. Rotation: Enables users to rotate the book screen either clockwise or counterclockwise by 90-degree increments.
2. Zoom: Zoom In/Out changes document magnification by preset levels. Zoom To changes the page view by the percentage you type in or selecting from the pop-up menu.
3. Magnifier: Magnify areas of the PDF files easily as you work on Foxit Reader Classmate Edition.
4. Loupe Tool: This special magnifying glass enables you to take a closer look at any part of a PDF page that is beneath the mouse cursor. The magnifying factor of the loupe tool can be adjusted.
5. Text Selection Tool: The Text Selection tool lets you select horizontal and vertical text or columns of text in a PDF. The selected text will be automatically copy to clipboard and pop up a prompt a message box.
6. Snapshot Tool: Enables users to copy and paste individual images, text or both as an image from a PDF to the clipboard, to other applications, or to other files.
7. Bookmarks and page thumbnails: Enables you to quickly browse through the PDF and allows you to jump to a specific place in the document.
8. View document in Full Screen: In Full Screen mode, the document pane fills the entire screen, with Menu Bar, Toolbar, Status bar, Bookmarks and Page thumbnails hidden behind. But it provides a fixed toolbar which supports basic page view function: rotation, zoom in/out, etc.
9. Automatically Scroll: View documents without using mouse actions or keystrokes and allow choosing different scroll mode such as continuous scroll, time-lapse scroll. Moreover, you can press the Shift key while scrolling the mouse wheel to control speed.
10. Text View: Enables users to preview the whole text content.
11. Search PDF: Search special text you want to find in a PDF. The searched items will be highlighted and choose Find Again or press F3 to continue search.
12. Annotation Tools: Annotation Tools are designed for you to give a document critical commentary or explanatory notes, including commenting tools, drawing tools
13. Support hyperlinks: Support internal and external hyperlinks. Click links with hand tool to take you to another location in the current document or other PDF document, or other websites.
