Opening PDF Documents


PDFTV supports command line operation. You can open pdf files from the execute program, or from the command line.

You can open any files with .pdf extension in PDFTV. When you open a PDF file, PDFTV displays the PDF file in the Preview pane, and synchronously extract text of the PDF file and displays them in the TextView pane.(Viewing PDF file and its text )

To open a PDF file From PDFTV.EXE

Do the following:

  1. Run PDFTV.EXE from your desktop or explorer.
  2. Choose File > Open from the File menu, or click the Open button in the Toolbar.
  3. In the Open dialog box, select the file and click Open.

Note: If more than one document is open, you can switch between documents by choosing the document name from the Window menu.

To open a PDF file From PDFTV.EXE

On the command line, type "path\pdftv\*.pdf", for example, "e:\pdftv\file.pdf", following Enter.
