Magnifying and Decreasing the View
The magnification methods or zoom options are only available when
you are viewing document in the Preview pane. If you want to enlarge
or reduce the displayed text in the TextView pane, you should set font
size in the Options menu, or in the Toolbar. See
Setting Text Fonts.
To increase or decrease magnification
Do one of the following:
- Click the Zoom In
or Zoom Out button
in the toolbar, and then click the page. Or select View >
Screen Tools > Zoom In or Zoom
Out in the menu bar. After finishing the zoom, you may want
to select the hand tool.
- Drop down the Zoomout or Zoomin
options in the toolbar, and then select a magnification percentage.
Or select View > Zoom To... in the menu bar, select
a new percentage in the ZoomTo dialog box, and then
click Ok.
- Select the Zoom In
or Zoom Out
command in the View menu
- Drop down the Zoom box on the Status bar, and scroll
down the bar to select a percentage.
To Resize a Page to Fit the Window
Do one of the following:
- Select View > Fit Page from the menu bar.
- Drop down the Zoom box on the Status bar, scroll
down the bar and select Fit Page.
To Resize a Page to Fit the Window Width
Do one of the following:
- Select View > Fit Width from the menu bar. Part
of context may be out of view.
- Drop down the Zoom box on the Status bar, scroll
down the bar and select Fit Width.
To Return a Page to its Actual Size
Do One of the following:
- Select View > Actual Size from the menu bar.
- Drop down the Zoom box on the Status bar, scroll
down the bar and select Fit Width.
Note: Its actual size of a pdf document is typically 100%, but some
pdf documents may be created in another zoom level.
