Basic Functions
- Opening PDF file: You can use command line or use
Open command in PDFTV to open PDF files, which will be displayed in
the Preview pane, and extract file text, which will be displayed in
the TextView pane.
- Saving file as text: You can use Save As
command to archive whole or part of pdf file text into your disk, most
possibly preserving the original layout.
- Viewing Files: You can preview files in either a
text or PDF format, and use navigation tools or bookmarks to paging
through the documents. You can also use the zoom tool to adjust the
view in a PDF format, or use TextView options to change the text font
size and color.
- Viewing info of PDF: You can use the Properties command
from File menu to view the General information about the PDF, and use
the PDF Font from the Options menu to preview the embeded pdf font.
- Editing text: You can directly modify the text contents
in the TextView pane, and use the edit command to select, cut , copy,
search and replace text.
